Gerakan-gerakan senam pagi bermanfaat untuk melatih otot-otot pada tubuh, melancarkan peredaran darah sehingga lebih sehat dan segar. Paparan sinar matahari pagi juga bagus bagi tubuh karena kandungan vitamin D alaminya. Jika tubuh sehat dan bugar secara fisik, maka kemampuan konsentrasi juga akan meningkat dan memudahkan dalam menyelesaikan pekerjaan sehari-hari. Senam juga dapat memperkuat tulang, membantu menormalkan aliran darah dan melatih urat saraf yang kaku serta meningkatkan kesehatan jantung dan stamina tubuh.
